Good Tidings of Great Joy

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.   Luke 2:11-14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.  John 1:14a

Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  Revelation 22:20b

I came here earlier and lost my comment. If it shows up, please delete the duplicate. I don't want to look goofy.

I have been trying to play catch up in Blog Land since I've been away for a while. I'm enjoying it because I get to read posts that I miss during the holidays.

I love that you ended this with the verse from Revelation. That was perfect, and I'll AMEN it.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful New Year. I just know that you did something fun in Grandma Land. Admit it. You did...

These are such beautiful scenes of the "Reason for the Season", Sue...I'm so glad you reposted them, as I missed seeing them the first time around. Lovely vignettes all over, with the true Spirit of Christmas.

Hoping that your New Year is off to a good start!
Hugs,
