Summer Evening Fun

One evening as one of the "prizes" for Camp Read A Lot we had the 4 big grands over for a movie and sleepover.

First up was make your own pizza.

Thanks Papa Murphy for making these adorable mini kits that are so easy for a grandma and grandpa:-) 

We had to top each pizza a little differently so that we would know which one belonged to which grand.

After supper we watched Elizabeth's choice of movie which was Dumbo.

We wanted to watch outside with our nifty projector that hooks up to my iPad.

We did have to start watching before it got dark as there was no way the kids could begin a movie at dark, which is around 9 or 9:30.  Our littles don't do well without sleep:-)

I included a picture of the set up so you could see that even though it wasn't dark out we could still see the show.

Those boys don't look comfy to me but that's how they watched most of the show.

Here you can see a picture of the little gadget that shows the movie.  It is really  small, but it does a good job.  When the kids are a little older we will stay up late and watch a movie in the pool.

Doesn't that sound like fun?

We all had a good time and they went to bed fairly well.

In the morning I always make them waffles with whip cream and sprinkles.

No pictures of that but I assure you they gobbled it up.
