Welcome Claire!

On May 1 our daughter, Jessica,  and her husband flew to China to get our new granddaughter!
We have all been anxiously awaiting this day.

Bob and I stayed at their house during the week so Cooper could go to school and Friday and Saturday nights they went to Laura's so we could go home and have a little break:-)

I didn't take one picture on my camera the whole time, I did take a few on my phone but as I can not get those on my computer I can't share them here.

The boys were very good, but I know why I had my kids when I was young ~ 3 meals a day, laundry, and keeping a 3 1/2 year occupied all day ~ it is work!

The only pictures  I have to share are the most glorious ones.

The day we met them at the airport!

Waiting...

Here comes Mom!
{I think she missed her boys}

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The forever family of 5.
Thank you Lord.

We followed them home so we could see her reactions to her room and her house.
She did so well, especially considering the 24 hours of travel and all of the new experiences for her.
Basically, everything is a new experience.

We are so blessed to have her in our family!

What a great homecoming! We are a family of five too, all girls, never got one of those boys. Two great son-in-laws though. Looks like they are having fun!

Please don't think I'm creepy and stalky, but I have been waiting for this ever since you first mentioned it. I read through it with tears in my eyes. Either I'm hormonal or your family touched my heart.

Or both.

Congratulations on your newest granddaughter. God is so good. All the time!!

That was such a great moment-I'm so glad we could all be there to experience that with their family.

Congratulations! How exciting! I know you're all thrilled.

Did I ever mention that our son Eric and his wife Angela have been trying to adopt from China too? They have three children (two girls and a boy), but have wanted to adopt, especially after they did a short mission trip to China years ago.

So excited for your family!

Hugs,
Kat
(btw...thanks for your visit and comment tonight)

What a blessing...to your family AND to Claire, as well!!! Loved seeing the photos of her homecoming.
I hope she has settled in nicely to their routine. Your DD is just beaming, with that gorgeous smile. She is a very special Mommy!

Hugs,
Rett
