I am just popping in to say Welcome to Spring! We have had a very nice winter, but I know that is not the case for most of the country. But, even so, I am still ready for spring and some GREEN. Texas is very brown in the winter.
I thought I would take a few pictures around the yard today to show what's popping up at my house. My knock out roses are starting to bloom!
Love the color on these, and I am so glad that we added all of this landscaping to the back yard.And a shot of the pond. If you look hard on the left there is a hint of blue ~ bluebonnets. If I had the time I'd run down there and get a shot, but not today.
We are back from our fourth trip of the New Year, and getting back in the groove. I don't know why it takes me so long to regain my stride after a trip! But no matter how long I'm gone, it takes a good 3 or 4 days to do just that! {I think it might be age!}
Thank you to all of the wonderful people who stop by and visit here and HAPPY SPRING!!

Love the beautiful colors in your blog pictures. I am in MS and so excited about the spring days to come!
And Happy Spring right back! Everything is blooming here too. It feels like a fairy land. Right now we have dogwoods and a few azaleas and lots of wisteria.
I sure would love bluebonnets. I always envy you Texans with those. Either I don't see them here or am too daft to realize that I do.
And I get the blogging the "cool table" feeling and the time consupmption too, especially because I'm home alone so much of the week.
I have tried to make myself a schedule, but I think as soon as I finish this current teaching stink *Woo Hoooo... Next week!* I'll be able to carve a better one.
Teaching so drains me that a relaxing stroll through Blog Land with all it's adventures and inspiration is too great a temptation.
I'm jealous of all your beautiful flowers starting to bloom! I, also, am amazed by how fast the time flies when I am on the computer. I guess that's why I haven't blogged lately, I'm a little tired of it!! I do like having a record of my family, though, so I need to get back on and do it!
You are soooooooooo far ahead of us in blooming time!!! Beautiful flowers!!!
We had frost on the roof again today. :-( Yuck! Hurry up, Spring!!
I hear ya' on the amount of time spent blogging. I really missed my friends though, when I didn't have a connection in FL. I have to find a good balance, I think. Will work on that.
Hugs,
Rett
